After working as a staff writer for The Times and The Guardian for more than ten years I’m now a freelance financial writer and journalist.
Recent commissions include articles for the BBC, The Times, The Daily Telegraph, The Guardian, The Observer, The Sunday Telegraph and copy for financial websites and corporate clients.
Journalism CV
- Insurance Correspondent and Personal Finance Deputy Editor at The Times, responsible for commissioning and writing articles for Business News and for Your Money, the personal finance section.
- City News Editor of The Guardian in charge of business news reporting, and then Launch Editor of Guardian Money online. This involved recruiting staff and designing and building the website.
- Deputy Editor of Guardian Online, with responsibility for content and strategy across all the Guardian’s websites.
I now write regularly for the BBC, Daily Telegraph, The Sunday Telegraph, The Times, The Guardian and The Observer.
I have won awards for Pension Writer of the Year and Best National Consumer Writer of the Year.
